Most clients schedule neuromodulator injections every three to four months to maintain smooth, natural-looking results. As the treatment gradually wears off, muscle movement returns and lines begin to reappear. With consistent appointments, some clients find they can go a bit longer between visits. Your Lumos provider will recommend a schedule based on your treatment areas, goals, and how your body responds.

There’s little to no downtime after Botox, Dysport, or Jeuveau, so most clients return to work or daily activities right away. You may notice small bumps at the injection sites that fade within about 30 minutes, along with mild redness or occasional bruising. For best results, avoid rubbing the treated area, lying down for four hours, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Results begin appearing within a few days, with full effects visible in about two weeks.

Good candidates are healthy adults who want to soften dynamic wrinkles, such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet, or prevent them from deepening. Neuromodulators aren’t recommended for anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, has certain neuromuscular conditions, or is allergic to any product ingredients. All injectable and Health/Wellness procedures are performed by our PA-C. Facials and Laser/Light therapies are performed by our extensively trained licensed estheticians and laser technicians.

Most treatments at Lumos are suited for all skin types. For your safety and skin health, some procedures (such as deep chemical peels and some laser treatments) may require a consultation with one of our professionals to determine if you are a suitable candidate.

Every client will receive an email with pre- and post-care instructions. Typically, any laser/light therapy requires avoiding sun exposure for at least 2-4 weeks before the procedure and at least 1 week after. Some treatments may also require stopping the use of retinol, brightening products, and blood thinners a week before treatment. Depending on the procedure, results may be seen after one treatment! For some procedures (such as laser hair removal, ForeverClear, and SkinTyte II), 4-6 treatments are needed to see full results.

To respect the time of our providers and other clients, Lumos has a 48-hour cancellation policy. Any appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
